Soccer players

This morning we got on our soccer gear early and ran around the house practicing our kicks yelling "soccer players!" Then it was off to real soccer practice. It was a little different story for Maida at practice than at home. She started off a little subdued, thumb in mouth, of course. (On a side note, this Mom pictured here is due one day before our Mom with her second baby boy, and not to make Mom feel bad, but I think she might be twice the size of this lady!)

Then Mom got a little nervous, because it looked as if things were going downhill for Maida real fast.

But she pulled it together during stretch time

She even showed off a decent two-footed jump over the ball.

She did eventually do some soccer playing with her buddies, Graham and Brooks, though there is no actual documentation of it. We're keeping our hopes up for her and this soccer thing!

Meanwhile, I was on another field just practicing my dribbling.

 Celie and I are on the same team, and our goal is domination (again, heard this from Dad).

Afterwards it was sprinkler time to cool off.

Gotta love the guy's facial expression from a little bit of cold water.
