Happy Halloween from your trusty Fireman (NOT firegirl, mind you) and an elephant

First came the pumpkin carving (we decided to wait until the last minute for this so they were nice and fresh). Here is the face I want on my pumpkin.

Spitting image, right?? This is my "fake/I was just crying" smile because I just tried to pick my pumpkin up and dropped it on the ground causing it's face to break apart. Don't worry, Dad fixed is with toothpicks MacGyver-style.

All dressed up and ready to get our treat on

We met up with my friend, Asher, and his little brother, Ford (aka, Spongebob and the Robot)

Coolest pumpkin carving ever!

Maida loved Big Bird

Also this past weekend was Audrey and Charlotte's Halloween party (we look forward to this one every year!). We tried to get a photo of all the kids, but this was the best we could do.

Maida refused to wear the Elephant costume to this party, so instead she went as a flapper and GG donned the Elephant.

There was even a parade...

albeit a short one.

Happy All Hallow's Eve!

And now Maida will take us on a small tour of a few other spots in the house ...

our big chalkboard in the kitchen where Maida is trying to decide between Smelly Toads, Witches Brew and Spider soup. Tough call, Mae.

Rest of the kitchen..

And here's Maida's room

The rest of the house is really in too much disarray to publish photos of, but hopefully we'll get everything put away sometime soon!?
