Around the world in 5 days

Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit...in reality, it was just a 3 hour plane ride to North Carolina to see my Aunt Cooney get married. 

But first we made a stop in Charlotte and I experienced my first pool dip, which I thoroughly enjoyed, especially given the heat and humidity those North Carolinans deal with.

Then we made the drive up to Lake Lure the next day. It was raining, so we couldn't chill by the lake at the beach. Instead, we kept ourselves busy by taking pictures of Dad's soon-to-be bald spot when he was bending over. He wasn't thrilled, but I was entertained so that's all that matters.

What's that you say? Jillian gave crazy Dave the boot last night on The Bachelorette? Thank god! He was scaring me.

And Mom and Dad thoroughly embarrassed me by attempting the lift while the DJ played "The Time of my Life" from Dirty Dancing. As you can see, it was a total failure. 

Best part of the trip was all the QT I got in my BF, Brock Ballard. He's my older sugar daddy, he just doesn't know it yet.
