Then on to our first Husker game! We almost didn't make it because of some meltdowns in the Nebraska Bookstore prior to the game. Mom was ready to throw in the towel, but Dad persevered and we made it to the game!

They always release balloons when the Huskers make their first score..unfortunately it was a field goal, and the game didn't get much better from there. 

Good 'Ole Nebraska U .. we love you even when your football team stinks.
