Copper Mountain

Last week was our annual trip to the mountains for D's birthday, and this year it was Copper Mountain. The first thing we did was get in the hot tub!

Then it was time to do some playing in the snow. It was no small feat to get us all bundled up (and to actually stay that way), so this was somewhat of a miracle we made it out tubing the first day.

Maida hung out in Critterland with Sara and Jed

While Mom, D and I went tubing on the BIG hill

The following is a random assortment from the next couple days..

Foster even had an impromptu first meal of avocado...he wasn't overly impressed

One of the best parts (besides the bunk beds) was the Wii. We've never played this before, and I kicked butt in bowling.

Another day of tubing...this is our "we actually made it here and everyone is still fully clothed" photo. Again, it was a miracle.

And we're exhausted.

This time Maida got to go down the big hill, and she had a blast

A quick photo with GG and D before heading out for the birthday dinner

You may be wondering why some random women is sitting on D's lap here ... well, apparently she is supposed to be Marilyn Monroe and she was surprising another older gentleman at the table next to us for his birthday. When she heard it was D's birthday too, she had to spread the love.
