Some more highlights from San Diego

We did hit up the beach a couple times, and even though it was a little chilly when the wind was blowing, it was great weather. Our first beach adventure involved a picnic lunch, which turned out to be a mistake, but Mae and I still had a blast running from the waves and playing in the sand.

We tried driving around for awhile after lunch to let Maida nap, but she refused (probably because I refused to be quiet), so instead Mom snapped this photo of her just chillin' in the car.

These photos are "running on adrenaline from not napping" fun ...

... to passed out later on.

One morning they had a reptile show for all the kids at the resort. I was terrified of most everything, but Maida had no fear.

Our next beach day ...

And last but not least, this is what Dad affectionately refers to as our "little sushi roll." 

Gotta love her.
