And...Maida's first day of school

Yesterday was our first day of PDO together - Me as a "crocodile" this year, and Maida's first year starting out as a "bunny." We were all pretty excited.

I think Maida's "cheese" face is getting a little out of control

She's all ready to go! Too bad when we actually filled up her backpack with her lunch, she fell over. She did pretty good for her first day, she saved all her tears for after Mom was gone.

And I just had to include these pictures ... 

the back story is that Mom heard Maida screaming from downstairs, which isn't odd in the slightest, so not shocking that she didn't run upstairs quickly to check on her. But her screams became a little bit more frantic, so she went to check on her and found her feet sticking out from under her and Dad's bed. Apparently, Maida had crawled under after Mattie and got stuck. Again, not shocking given the rolls she's still sporting. But she pulled her out by her feet(after taking a couple pictures), and all was fine .
