Thanksgiving 2015

The preparation the day before included Mom doing some cooking and a lot of chopping, while Maida and I made "turkey" placeards for the table.

The morning started out with a little 5K run for Mom and Dad, and then a 1 mile Fun Run for Maida and I. It was frigidly cold, but we braved the weather and finished strong. The same could not be said for Mom. On top of that, GG and Foster took a spill on the ice, and that was the end of their time at the Fun Run (thankfully everyone was ok. In true Grandma form, GG took the brunt of the spill for Fossie).

Then back at home that afternoon, we had a little staring contest with Uncle Jace.

Maida was the clear winner!

After dinner, a little Charlie Brown Thanksgiving 

and dessert! We had three different kinds of homemade desserts, but us kids just wanted ice cream ... what?!

Can you believe Sayler was so pooped, she just laid down in front of the door and passed out?! While Sloane bologna and Fos-man hugged it out.
