Nebraska Part II

The last half of our trip to Nebraska was spent in Columbus with our friends from Denver. And it included a lot of lake time!

Maida and Tatum are so cute, it kinda makes me want to throw up.

We also got to stay up late and go on some sunset strolls around Emme's grandma's neighborhood.

And a first for us ...catching fireflies!

It rained one day so we took a trip to the local library and then picnicked outside.

And on our last day, Mom was sleeping off her awful stomach bug, so we hit up the local park in the morning.

By the afternoon, she was able to pull it together enough for us to go to the waterpark. And thank goodness because it was a blast.

The littles in line for the diving board ... I was so proud of Maida, they were the smallest kids by a foot.

Her first-ever jump off the diving board ... and she didn't drown!

By the end of our trip, Maida worked up the courage to jump off the end of the dock without a floaty..

and I was jumping backwards :)
