Two days before Christmas

We did a little baking in the morning - well, not really baking, but we helped GG make whipped cream for a jello dish. You can imagine what our favorite part was.

Then later that day was a very big event, my first time at the Nutcracker. We met Aunt Sara for lunch beforehand and then walked over to the performing arts center

We even wore matching tutus in celebration of the ballerinas (Aunt Sara was even mistaken for one at one point, I think)

Then on Christmas Eve morning we picked up some brunch and headed over to Great Grandma and Grandpa Krolls to wish them a Merry Christmas

And of course opened a couple presents

Then back at home later that afternoon Mom and Dad let us pick one present under the tree to open - I picked Buzz Lightyear (love him!) and Maida got a Y bike, both from Mimi and Grandpa, and both two of our favorites (more photos of Maida zooming on her Y bike to come)

 Loving Christmas already...

Then later we got dressed up for church and enjoyed our traditional Christmas Eve chili dinner
