Model Behavior
So I'm getting old enough that I can now follow simple directions.
"Harper, can you go get your shoes?" Yep!
"Can you bring Mommy the book?" Yep!
"Harper, please don't put the dog food in your mouth." Okay, fine, whatever.
So the other day, Mom and I were folding laundry and she asked me to go put it away for her. I disappeared for a good five minutes. Not sure what Mom was doing during this time, but when she finally got around to check up on me, this is what she found...
Not exactly putting the laundry away, but quietly entertaining myself in the laundry basket with some paper clips (no, I did not eat any... that you know of, anyway). Did she really expect me to put it away? There's a limit to what I can do by myself!
On another note, there has been a lot of chit chat lately about my hair.
The comments usually go something like this,
"He's so cute, I love that he's still bald!"
I don't justify this with a response...
"My kids were bald until they were three, and they have the most beautiful curls now!"
Great lady, but have you seen my Mom and Dad? Curls are not in my future.
"She totally has more hair than the last time I saw her."
Which was usually about a week prior, when I definitely could not have grown more hair that is noticeable to the naked eye. This is when I know they're lying.
I just want to set the record straight that I'm fine with my hair, or lack there of. I know I won't have wonderful flowing locks like Gisele or Heidi (or some other famous model with great
hair), but I'm sure it will come eventually, don't worry.
We are headed on a family vacation to Punta Mita, Mexico next week. This will be my first visit to the beach (and another country), and I'm not sure what to expect, but Mom describes it as heaven with margaritas, so I have high expectations. See you when we get back!
