Livin' the dream
That's right, the weather has been gorgeous here so far this Fall, the leaves are starting to turn, and Fossie is testing out his options for Halloween - the cow was the favorite last week, but now it's a black kitty.
Poor Wrigs had his elbow surgery and has been recovering for the last few weeks - he's still limping around a bit, but we're hoping he'll be back to full steam ahead in no time. He is currently under sedation and he's still amped up like Dad after a few too many cups of espresso, so we're actually enjoying this slightly lazier version of Wrigley for the time being.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, Foster's favorite animal is a hedgehog. Mom tried to find him a hedgehog costume for Halloween, but the only thing that came up was Sonic the Hedgehog circa 1992, and pretty sure he has no idea who that even is.
In other news, last Friday was Mom and Dad's 11th Anniversary, so we thought we pull out this oldie but goodie from the night of their rehearsal, Sept 22, 2005. Man, do they look young or what?!
So to celebrate the momentous occasion, we all went out to dinner. And not to Chipotle or Noodles, to an actual adult place with other adults who did NOT have children with them. Mom was pretty adamant that we not ruin the evening and be on our best behavior, and for once, we actually listened. We had a great mexican dinner, and Dad made us a mustache out of play doh.
Then we went next door to this little dessert place and we got to sit at the counter and watch them make our desserts. Not gonna lie, the desserts were a little fancy for my liking - I'm more of an ice cream and sprinkles kind of girl. But it was a really fun night nonetheless.
