Geo-caching anyone?

So for the past two weeks, they've been working on our office, which means almost everything that was in the office is now sitting in the dining room - it's a mess. Mom's computer has taken up residence on the floor, but it hasn't been used much, because our internet has been either out or so slow and sporadic, it wasn't even usable. So long story short, that's why you haven't seen an update in a few weeks!

But we've been no less busy.

To recap...

Maida and Foster's favorite new pastime is bathing in the sink, they both barely fit, but they don't really care.

A couple weekends ago, Mom and I went on our first mission trip with our church to Buckhorn Camp a couple hours north in the middle of NOWHERE. We had such a great time, despite the fact that we weren't prepared for the 40 degree weather and snow!

And my good friend, William, got to come along, too!

Basically we went up there to help out/clean up, and that's exactly what we did.

We also got to make some cookies in an industrial-size mixer, which I looooooved.

Then after all our hard work was over, we did a little exploring - or geo-caching to be specific. Any of you heard of it? It's basically a worldwide treasure hunt. There are Apps, people.

What trip to a camp is complete without Smores?

We ended the day with some fun in the bunk room. Mom said she didn't even see me this happy at Disneyland (except maybe when Maida and I defeated Darth Vadar). I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face, that's for sure.

We had to stop for a photo op on the ride home, it was just too beautiful not to.

But enough about me, Fossie hasn't been up to much except cultivating a serious obsession with all things puzzles. He tries to put them together on his own, but mainly just wants to watch us do it, and then pulls them apart and puts them away, only to get them back out and start it all over again.

Maida has found her green thumb and is planting some sunflower seeds. We're hoping she didn't inherit Mom's gardening skills.
