The Easter Bunny came to town
Despite various illlness on Saturday, we were up and ready to hunt for our Easter baskets on Sunday morning!
Maida found hers in the dining room behind the curtains
Mine was a bit trickier - that sneaky bunny hid mine in the house upstairs
He also brought us another present, that we found a few days ago in the garage covered up by the old spiderman outfit used to scare the daylights out of me at my 4th birthday party. Mom explained the Easter Bunny dropped it off early, but I'm still a little skeptical.
But however it got here, I'm glad it did! Dad and I spent the next 45 minutes putting the parking tower together - just another example of money well spent on that MBA of his.
Then we got spiffed up in our Easter dresses, even though we didn't make it to church ...
and we headed outside for our first of about 18 Easter Egg hunts for the day.
Yes, that is in fact our old Christmas tree still laying in our backyard. Embarrassing, I know. Dad finally got rid of it after this photo was taken.
Then later in the day GG and D came over and brought the baskets the Easter Bunny had dropped off at their house - the gifts just keep coming!
Sayler, Aunt Gabe and Uncle Jace came over for dinner, as well, and we did our final egg hunt with her. It was a fun day!
Next we are off to San Diego later this week for some fun in the sun (hopefully) and a trip to a little piece of heaven they call Legoland.
